Hobart College senior Sean Pesin helped the Statesmen to a 3-0 week, improving to 6-3 on the season. Pesin led Hobart from the No. 1 singles position, winning all three of his matches. He defeated Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Hunter Roseth 6-1, 4-6, 12-10, and Luther's Luke Westholder 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 10-4, in the No. 1 spot in Orlando, Florida, early in the week. Pesin then led Hobart in a come-from-behind victory over No. 35 Vassar on Saturday as he defeated Jay Wong 6-4, 6-1, in the No. 1 spot to help the Statesmen to a 5-4 Liberty League opening win. He also partnered up with sophomore Nick Fischer to go 2-1 on the week in the No. 1 doubles position. Pesin is now 4-4 in singles play and is riding a four-match winning streak.
