First-year Achilleas Kousaridis of the Hobart College tennis team has led the Statesmen in their spring break trip so far, going 3-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action in Orlando, Florida. Kousaridis defeated Hamilton's Gianni Esposito 6-0, 6-4, in the No. 4 spot to clinch a 5-4 victory over the Colonials. He then defeated Oglethorpe's Jefferson Page in the No. 3 spot, 6-2, 6-3, the following day in Hobart's 7-2 win. Kousaridis closed out the weekend with a 6-0, 3-6, 10-1 win over Goucher's Unai Laguardia Alvarez in the No. 1 spot to help the Statesmen to an 8-1 win. In the win over Goucher, Kousaridis teamed up with Nick Grosso to defeat Angel Cerpa and Benedikt Rummel 8-1 in the No. 2 spot. He remains undefeated in dual matches this season, and moves to 5-0 in singles play. Kousaridis is 1-0 in dual match doubles play as well.
