University of Rochster senior infielder Alec Ellison was the Yellowjackets' top hitter during a busy spring break week, hitting .452 (14-for-31) in eight games. He added seven runs scored, one double, one triple and a team-best 10 RBI. He was 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts, had a .548 slugging percentage and drew two hit-by-pitch for a .485 on-base mark. He was 12-for-12 in defensive chances as well. Ellison’s week featured five multi-hit games, including going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs in Rochester’s win over St. John Fisher on Sunday. He added three hits, a run scored and a stolen base against Allegheny on Saturday.
