St. Lawrence University junior Lewis Anderson had a strong weekend at the CSA Individual Nationals finishing runner-up in the Molloy North bracket. The junior began his weekend sweeping Haverford's Noah Tunis 11-4, 11-3, 11-8 (3-0), then in the quarterfinals he beat Tufts' Kerwin Teh 11-5, 12-10, 11-5 (3-0). In the semis, Anderson took on Princeton's Alastair Cho and won 11-6, 11-8, 5-11, 5-11, 11-9 (3-2). The win tied Anderson for the most career wins in program history at 62. In the championship match, Anderson was down 2-0 to Syan Singh of Cornell, but fought back to tie 2-2 before dropping the final game (3-2).
