University of Rochester junior Megan Bell earned two All-America awards, including one national champion trophy at this weekends NCAA Division III Track & Field Championship in Virginia Beach. Bell anchored Rochester’s back-to-back national title winning 4x400 meter relay team which posted a finals time of 3:45.21, fourth best all-time in Division III history. Additionally, Bell secured sixth place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.68. During Friday’s prelims, Bell broke the Rochester school record in the event, securing her place in the final with a 2:10.17 time, third-best in the field. Rochester as a team finished fourth among 66 teams that scored a point, marking the teams second-best finish ever at the NCAA Championships.
