University of Rochester senior Madeline O’Connell was the champion in the pole vault at the 2023-24 All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships, surpassing the four-meter mark for the second time this season. O’Connell’s mark of 4.03 meters set a facility record at the Golisano Training Center and was more than .40m higher than the second-place finisher in the event. O’Connell’s 10 points earned in the pole vault, helped the Yellowjackets to a sixth-place finish among the 38 teams that scored a point in the meet.
