University of Rochester senior Madeline O’Connell was named Co-Track Performer along with Field Performer of the Meet at the Liberty League Championships, helping Rochester to its second straight indoor title. O'Connell smashed her own pole vault school record, clearing 4.10 meters, setting the new top mark in Division III this season. Additionally, O’Connell scored three other top-3 finishes, including a win in the 400 meters, setting a championship and facility record of 56.20 seconds. The senior added a runner-up finish in the 200 meters in 25.26 seconds and was third in the 60 meters at 7.98 seconds. All four marks were AARTFC qualifiers.
