University of Rochester junior Deziree Garrick led the Yellowjackets in both throwing events at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up on Friday, posting two AARTFC qualifying performances in the shot put and weight throw. Both results were personal bests for the junior, as she finished third in the weight throw at 16.43 meters and finished sixth in the shot put at 11.99 meters. On the Division III national performance list, Garrick ranks 33rd in the weight throw. Additionally, she is now first in the Liberty League rankings in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put.
