William Smith College senior guard Brooke Jarvis led the Herons to a 1-1 weekend to conclude her senior season. She scored a layup with 3.2 seconds remaining to defeat No. 20 Vassar, snapping the Brewers' 21-game win streak and handing them their first loss in conference play. In the win over the Brewers, Jarvis dropped 16 points and nine rebounds. The following day, Jarvis led the Herons in a 60-55 loss to Union, with 17 points and a career high 20 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. Through two games, she averaged 16.5 points per game, 14.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1.0 steals per game. Jarvis leads the Liberty League in scoring, averaging 15.4 ppg, and is fifth in rebounding with 8.5 rpg. She ranks top-20 in the conference in fg%, ft%, assists, blocks and steals in her final season as a Heron and has recorded a team-leading eight double-doubles.
