RIT first-year Alec Turcotte recorded a combined 3-1 record for RIT Men's Tennis last weekend. The first year went 2-0 to help RIT to an 8-1 win over Oneonta and 1-1 in RIT's loss to Rochester. Turcotte teamed up with junior Grahith Movva to defeat Oneonta's August LePique and William Schmid, 8-5 at first doubles, Saturday and defeated Schmid, 6-3, 6-4 at second singles. On Sunday, Turcotte recorded RIT's lone point against the Yellowjackets, picking up a win at second singles. He won the first set against Kai Yuminaga, 7-6 (7-4) before Yuminaga was forced to retire due to an injury before the start of the second set.
