Vassar College sophomore guard Sierra McDermed led the Vassar College Women's Basketball team to a 2-0 week as the Brewers extended its winning streak to 19 games. McDermed finished the week averaging 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds while shooting an even 50-percent (13-for-26) from the floor and 41.7-percent (5-for-12) from three-point range. McDermed added 2.0 blocks per game for the Brewers and converted at 83.3-percent from the free-throw line. McDermed opened the week scoring 10 points and adding five rebounds and three blocks against Bard on Friday before erupting for 26 points and a career-high 15 rebounds against Union on Saturday. Playing all 40 minutes against the Garnet Chargers, McDermed matched her season-high in scoring and added an assist, a block and a pair of steals.
