Ithaca College sophomore Ryan Cooke turned in an outstanding individual performance at Saturday's RPI Kumpf Invitational against Cortland, RPI and Skidmore. Cooke posted a pair of wins, besting the field first in the 200-yard freestyle finishing the event in 1:45.77. He then went on to win the 500-yard freestyle earning 20 team points and recording a time of 4:46.92, which was nearly three seconds faster than Cortland’s Hunter Bernhardt who finished in second. Cooke also helped the Ithaca relay squad to a first-place result as they won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:10.54.
