Vassar College junior guard Tova Gelb led the Brewers to a 3-0 week in league play, averaging 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest. Gelb shot an efficient 51.4 percent (18-for-35) from the floor with a pair of three-pointers and a 62.5 percent effort from the free-throw line. Gelb opened the week with 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks in a road win at preseason favorite Skidmore and opened a road weekend at RPI with 12 points and five caroms. To finish off the unbeaten week, Gelb posted her second double-double of the weekend, pouring in 17 points and collected 11 rebounds at RIT. For the week, Gelb added four assists, six blocked shots and six steals for the Brewers who have moved their winning steak to 13 games.
