University of Rochester first-year athlete Nora Chen captured two event wins during her first colleigate meet, running at the Nazareth Alumni Opener on Friday evening. Chen won the 400-meter invitational event with a time of 59.09 seconds, a current NCAA Division III top-15 time and Liberty League-leading mark. Later, the first-year was a member of Rochester’s 4x400-meter relay team which has the current third-best time in the country (and Liberty League-leading), with the group finishing in first place at 3:58.27. Chen qualified for the All-Atlantic Regional Championships in both events during the meet.
