Vassar College first-year Lucas Jauregui had a strong weekend for the Brewers at  the Bomber Invitational, setting a pair of school records over the three-day event. On Friday, Jauregui finished seventh in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 21.51 seconds and swam the opening leg of the 200-yard medley relay, with a new school record time of 23.99 seconds in his 50-yard backstroke leg. On Saturday, Jauregui set a new school record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.80 seconds, placing third in the event. Jauregui added a third place swim in the evening session in the 200-yard backstroke (51.38). To close the event on Sunday, Jauregui took fourth place in the 100-yard IM (54.06).
