Senior guard Brooke Jarvis of the William Smith basketball team led the Herons in a 83-72 loss to the University of Rochester on Tuesday. Jarvis dropped a season-high 33 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She went 6-for-7 from the free throw line and 13-for-24 from the floor in the loss. Jarvis added one block, one steal and one assist against the Yellowjackets. Jarvis leads the Liberty League in scoring (20.8 points per game), and is third in rebounding (9.0 rebounds per game). She has led the Herons in all four contests this season and looks to lead a young William Smith squad through the remainder of the season.
