Hobart College junior guard/forward Carter Meshanic led the Statesmen to their first win at Rochester since 2014, logging 18 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in the 78-70 victory. The Statesmen trailed by as many as 11, but Meshanic went off in the second half, producing 13 points and 11 rebounds after halftime to rally Hobart to just the program's eighth victory ever at the Palestra. He finished the game 6-of-13 from the floor and 6-of-9 at the line. It was Meshanic's second consecutive double-double. The Statesmen are 4-0 for the first time since starting the 2011-12 season with six straight wins.
