Vassar College first-year player Jay Vashisht opened his collegiate career in strong fashion, going 2-1 in three matches for the Brewers on opening Weekend. Playing at the second position, Vashisht rebounded from a 3-0 loss to St. Lawrence on Friday with 3-1 (11-6, 13-11, 11-13, 11-4) and 3-0 (19-17, 11-8, 11-7) wins over Fordham and Boston University on Saturday.
