Union College first-year midfielder Marco Perugini scored a pair of goals this past week for the Garnet Chargers, who went 1-0-1. Perugini, who has now scored in three straight games, provided the only goal in Union's victory over Skidmore on Tuesday, which clinched the program's first playoff berth since 2015. He then scored in Union's draw at Clarkson on Saturday, giving the team a point to clinch a first-round bye and their first home playoff game in 13 years. Perugini's six goals, which are one off for tops in the Liberty League, are the most by a Union first-year since Sebastiaan Jansen also scored six in 2009.
