University of Rochester senior Kerry Wang finished in the top-10 (tied for 9th place) at the Golfweek October Classic, shooting rounds of 75-70-69 for a 214 total, best in the conference. Wang's rounds of 70 and 69 on Monday and Tuesday were both season-lows for the senior. Overall, he ended the week doing most of his damage on the par-5's, shooting a combined 5-under on those holes, ranking tied for fourth best in the tournament. Rochester as a team finished tied for 17th of 25 teams in the event, carding 295 team scores in each round, equaling a total of 885 for the tournament.
