William Smith College senior goalkeeper Kirsten Nelson was 2-0-0 in goal for the Herons this past week. Nelson made 12 saves on the weekend as the Herons defeated Rensselaer and Union in Liberty League play. On Friday against the Engineers, Nelson made four saves in just under 76 minutes of work. The next day, she made a career-high eight saves as William Smith beat Union 2-0. The win against Union was her fourth shutout of the season. Nelson is 8-0-3 with a 0.65 GAA and a .870 save percentage.
