The team of Mary Bailos, Olivia Helms, Elisa Faiola, Kate Abdalla, Raya Schwartz, Cheyenne Muldowney, Leah Wiebe, Jane Bliss and Linea Darius powered William Smith's varsity eight to a gold medal at the Head of the Genesee regatta Saturday afternoon. The Herons traversed the 5-kilometer race course in a time of 18:46.12. They beat the second-place finisher by 20 seconds.
