Buffalo State first-year defensive back Basiaka Butcher had another solid performance for the Bengals, totaling eight total tackles, including seven solo tackles, and his second pick-six of the season in a 29-22 loss against the University of Rochester. Butcher made tackles on five of the first six plays of the game to help Buffalo State force a punt on the opening drive. He then stepped in front of a swing pass to the right side for his second interception of the year, and walked in untouched for a four-yard return touchdown to give the Bengals the lead in the third quarter.
