William Smith College graduate student Katrine Berg factored into all three goals as the Herons knocked off No. 1 Messiah 3-1 on Saturday. She set up both of William Smith's first-half goals against the Falcons. In the second half, she scored an insurance goal off a corner kick to seal the victory. Berg also played solidly defensively as the Herons picked up their first win over a No. 1 team in the coaches' poll since 2013.
