University of Rochester graduate student Brendan Frain finished fifth of 113 golfers at the Williams Fall Invitational over the weekend, shooting rounds of 71 and 73 at the par-71 Taconic Golf Course. His 144 total was just three strokes behind the medalist. Frain led the field in par-5 scoring, shooting 6-under through the event on the par fives, while also ranking fourth in the field in par-3 scoring at even-par. He recorded 19 pars and 8 eight birdies over the two rounds. Rochester as a team finished in 7th of 22 schools, shooting rounds of 297 and 303 for a 600 total.
