RPI freshman Emily Laurilliard opened her collegiate career by not only winning all four matches she played, she dropped just one game in singles competition. In the opener against Hartwick, she won at No. 1 doubles, 8-5, before capturing No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-0. The Engineers won the match, 9-0. Laurilliard then helped the Engineers defeat Plattsburgh, 8-1, by winning first doubles (8-5) and fourth singles (6-0, 6-0).
