William Smith College senior Libby Maxwell  led the Herons to a 2-1 week with wins against SUNY Geneseo (2-1) and Lebanon Valley (3-1) and a 3-1 loss against No. 17 Kean. She guided the Heron defense that held all three opponents to 29 shots total and five goals allowed in three games. In the two wins, the Herons allowed only seven shots on goal. Maxwell also had a hand in the offense with four points on two goals this week, scoring against the Knights and the nationally-ranked Cougars.
