In two games over the weekend, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute senior forward Gwen Barnes scored two of her team's three goals as the Engineers went 1-0-1. Barnes began with a penalty kick tally in the first half of what would be a 1-1 tie against nationally-ranked Cortland. She then scored with just 30 seconds left in the second half to give the Engineers a 2-1 win over New Paltz. Gwen had two shots with one on goal against the Hawks and one attempt against the Red Dragons.
