William Smith College senior goalkeeper Kirsten Nelson was 2-0-0 in goal on opening weekend for the Herons. Nelson finished the Haverford Kickoff Classic with a 0.50 GAA and a .909 save percentage as she made 10 saves while allowing just one goal on the weekend. Against TCNJ, she made a career-high six saves as the Herons recorded a shutout. On Sunday, Nelson made four saves in William Smith's victory over Arcadia.
