Vassar College first-year outside hitter Holland Kaplan had a strong opening week for the Brewers as she finished with 36 kills (hitting .253), seven aces, 27 digs and two blocks in three matches at the Gordon Invitational. In a tight five-set loss to the Fighting Scots on Saturday, the Kaplan tallied 22 kills (hitting .327), three aces and 11 digs to lead the Brewers. She added seven kills, three aces and five digs in a three set sweep over Mount Saint Mary in the first match on Saturday morning.
