University of Rochester senior Madeline O’Connell won a pair of region titles at this past week’s All-Atlantic Regional Outdoor Championship (AARTFC), taking home first place in both the pole vault and as part of the 4x100 relay. O’Connell ran the anchor leg of the Yellowjackets' 4x100 relay, helping set a new program, facility and meet record with a time of 46.69s, the 10th-best time in DIII. O’Connell picked up an individual win in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.85 meters, setting a new facility record on the way to another region title.
