University of Rochester first-year pitcher Maddie White did not allow an earned run in 6.2 innings of work, claiming a pair of victories in relief during Saturday’s championship round against Ithaca, helping the Yellowjackets earn their third straight conference crown. White opened with four strikeouts in 2.2 innings in game one, allowing just one hit and no walks. In game two, she tossed four innings, allowed one hit and one unearend run while striking out four and walking one, picking up the tourney clinching win, as Rochester walked off the game with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 10th.
