At the Liberty League Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship, RPI first-year Cortez Garett compiled 23 points in four events. He was runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.70 and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.32. He also ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay that finished third (3:21.98) and the third leg of the 4x100 relay that was fourth (43.14). Garett helped the Engineers win their first outright Liberty League title since spring of 2019. The Engineers finished the two-day meet with 224 points, finishing atop the team standings with a lead of nine points.
