The St. Lawrence Men's Varsity Eight claimed two championship titles over the weekend, as they were named the Liberty League and New York State Champions. The Saints took first place in a fleet of five teams, posting a winning time of 6:02.160, finishing over five seconds ahead of eighth-ranked Ithaca (6:07.853) at the Liberty League Championship. In the finals at the NYS Championships, the Saints claimed their second title of the weekend with a first-place finish, defeating Army, Hamilton, Iona, Vassar and Ithaca. St. Lawrence finished with a final time of 6:24.201 with a narrow margin of victory over Army (6:24.880).
