RPI first-year athlete Emma McGuinn won the 100-meter hurdles at the 10-school, multi-divisional Capital District Classic in Troy with a time of 14.38 seconds. McGuinn was first in the preliminaries, which included 13 competitors, with a time of 14.71 and then won the final by .36 seconds over a hurdler from UAlbany. The Great Danes edged the Engineers in the final team totals, 176-172.
