Hobart College junior Sean Pesin went 3-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles action as the Statesmen went 3-0 to clinch the No. 2 spot in the Liberty League tournament. In singles action, Pesin defeated RIT's Grahith Movva 6-0, 6-0, in the No. 1 spot. He then defeated No. 7 regionally ranked, Aidan Drover-Mattinen, 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 1 spot. Pesin completed a perfect week by defeating SLU's Nathan Turtledove, 6-2, 6-2, in the No. 1 spot. He is now 16-6 overall in singles play this season and has defeated six ranked opponents. Pesin then partnered up with senior Jett Wright in doubles play to take down the No. 9 regionally ranked doubles duo, Drover-Mattinen and Andy Zhu, 8-6, and SLU's Turtledove and Ben Moolman, 8-4, in the No. 1 doubles position. The duo is now 17-9 overall this season and went 5-1 in conference play.
