University of Rochester senior Scott Sikorski competed in only one event, but made it count by winning the 800 meters at the UR Alumni Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Fauver Stadium. Sikorski crossed the finish in a career-best time of 1:50.80, currently the 9th-best time in Division III this season. Sikorski’s time also is the second-fastest in school history and ranks first in the Liberty League this year. His win helped the Yellowjacket men to the team scoring title at the meet.
