Rochester’s top boat (Varsity Eight) battled some of Division III’s top squads at the WPI Donahue Cup on Saturday and came away with a fourth place result among nine schools in the event. The Yellowjackets qualified for the grand final with a morning heat time of 6:50.87, third fastest in the field before placing fourth overall in the afternoon racing with its time of 7:31.10. Nationally ranked #1 Williams, #5 WPI and #11 Clark were the only teams to finish ahead of Rochester on the day.
