William Smith College senior midfielder Maddie Montgomery led the Herons with 11 points on eight goals and three assists in a 2-0 week in Liberty League play. She also recorded five ground balls, seven draw controls and four caused turnovers. On Wednesday against No. 20 Ithaca, Montgomery had a career-high nine points and matched her career-high in goals with seven. She scored four of her goals in the first half as the Herons built an 8-4 lead. Her third goal of the game was her 200th career point. Montgomery factored into five goals in the second half. On Senior Day, she registered four draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls. She leads the Liberty League with 47 goals and 60 points.
