The Mavericks went just 2-for-8 against Broccolo with runners on base, and 1-for-8 with two outs, as she allowed just seven base runners, stranding all seven. After working around a pair of hits in the first inning, the Webster, N.Y. native retired 11-straight over the second, third, fourth and fifth innings, before striking out a pair to finish off the victory.
