William Smith College senior midfielder Maddie Montgomery had 10 points in a 2-0 week for the Herons lacrosse team. On Wednesday against #24 St. John Fisher, she had three points on two goals and an assist. She added two groundballs and three draw controls as the Herons rallied to beat the Cardinals, 10-9. On Saturday against Skidmore, Montgomery led the Herons, matching her career-high, with seven goals. She was 3-for-5 on free position shots, had two caused turnovers and six draw controls. Through nine games, Montgomery leads the team with 41 points and 32 goals. She is second on the team with 32 draw controls.
