Hobart College junior Sean Pesin had an impressive week in Orlando, Fla, going 3-0 in singles action as the Statesmen went 6-0 at the UTSA National Campus during Spring Break. Pesin shined in the No. 1 singles spot for the Statesmen, defeating three straight nationally ranked opponents. He defeated Luther's Luke Westholder (0-6, 6-3,10-3). Westholder was ranked third regionally and 14th nationally in singles play. Pesin then defeated Carleton's Tarm Rojanasoonthon (6-1,7-6 (7-4)). Rojanasoonthan was ranked sixth regionally and 21st nationally. He then followed this up with a (6-4, 3-6, 11-9) victory over Hamilton's Connor Griff. Griff was ranked ninth regionally and 41st nationally. Pesin also added crucial points in the No. 1 doubles spot for the Statesmen. Pesin and partner Jett Wright went 4-1 to help Hobart go 6-0. The Statesmen duo defeated teams from Carleton, Oglethorpe, Hamilton and Trinity while only falling to Westholder and Loen from Luther.
