The RPI first doubles team of sophomore Lorna Flores Gonzalez and first-year Nikki Ridenour posted a team-best doubles record of 3-1 in four matches in Orlando over spring break. Flores Gonzalez and Ridenour won their first match 8-7 (7-3) over a duo from Haverford in a 7-2 team victory and then took their lone loss, 8-6, against a team from No. 11 Carnegie Mellon, a match the Engineers lost 6-3. The third match resulted in an 8-3 win in a 7-2 team win over North Carolina Wesleyan and they concluded with a 6-2 victory over a squad from Division II St. Cloud State, which the Engineers defeated 6-1 to conclude their Florida trip with a 3-1 record.
