University of Rochester senior Susan Bansbach was named the Liberty League Women’s Track Performer of the Meet after helping the Rochester women to their first-ever Liberty League Indoor title and conference sweep. Bansbach earned three wins and a third-place result, taking home Liberty League titles in the 200m, 400m and 4x400, while tallying four AARTFC qualifying times. Bansbach started her weekend with a first-place finish in the 400 meters, setting a new facility record with her time of 57.55. Then on Saturday, Bansbach got things started with a third-place finish in the 60 meters, clocking in at 7.87, before claiming her second title with a first-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 25.42, currently the 23rd-best time in NCAA DIII. Then Bansbach wrapped up her performance with the final leg of UR’s 4x400 relay, bringing home another conference crown with a time of 4:04.00.
