University of Rochester junior Mitch Lienert was a double-winner for the Yellowjackets, claiming titles in the 60 meters and 200 meters at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up last Friday. In the 60, Lienert was first of 48 runners with a time of 6.95 seconds in the finals, just .01 shy of his own school record. Later in the 200 meters, he finished with a time of 22.10 seconds, winning by nearly one second over second place. Overall, 58 runners competed in the race. Lienert earned two AARTFC qualifying performances.
