RPI opened the spring portion of its schedule with matches against RIT and Rochester and senior Alex Mednikova led the Engineers to two victories, including a 9-0 Liberty League triumph over the Tigers. Playing No. 2 singles, Mednikova had wins of 6-0, 6-1, which gave RPI a 4-0 lead against RIT, and 5-7, 7-6, 13-11 for an 8-1 win over the Yellowjackets.
