Vassar College first-year Addie Wiener had a monster week for the Brewers at the 2022-23 Liberty League Championships as she won the gold medal and first team honors in the 500-yard freestyle in 5:09.43. She followed that up by being crowned the champion in the 1,650-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 17:45.18. Wiener was part of the 800-free relay that finished second overall and set a new school record. She also broke the school record with a 200-free split to lead off the relay with a time of 1:52.91 - a mark previously held by All-American, Jesse Ecklund '22 who posted a time of 1:53.25 in 2020. She also finished third overall in the 200-free in 1:54.13. This all helped Vassar to a runner-up finish at the championship meet, which was the highest finish in school history.
