In the Kumpf Invitational on Saturday, RPI sophomore Shannon Brown helped the Engineers to a second-place team finish out of five teams. Brown collected three first-place finishes on the day. Individually, she had top finishes in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:12.04 – over two full seconds over second place. She also took the top spot in the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 54.07. Brown, along with Megan Beaulieu, Colleen Whittaker, and Ola Nawrocki also took first place in the 400 medley relay, swimming the anchor as the group finished at 4:02.14 – almost seven full seconds over second place.
