St. Lawrence University first-year Patrick Walford had a strong outing for the Saints this past week going 2-2 in four matches. He earned his first win of the week against Bowdoin's Justin Barr going 11-1, 9-11, 8-11, 11-4, 11-1. His second win came against Dickinson where the rookie swept Hussien Eldesouky 11-6, 11-5, 11-7.
