Hobart College senior forward Jackson Meshanic posted three double-doubles to lead Hobart to a 2-1 week on the road in Liberty League play. He produced 29 points, 10 rebounds and one viral moment in the Statesmen's 77-74 win at Union on Saturday. Meshanic was 12-of-18 shooting, including a career-high matching five 3-pointers, against the Dutchmen. His biggest shot of the game was the game-winner. With 0.8 seconds remaining in a tie game, Meshanic caught a three-quarters of the length of the court pass, turned and fired a shot that banked in ahead of the final buzzer. On Friday night at Bard, he recorded 23 points and a career-high matching 17 rebounds in Hobart's 85-64 win. At Skidmore on Tuesday, Meshanic scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, but the Thoroughbreds eked out a 69-66 win. For the week, he shot 60% from the floor (30-50), 60% from 3-point range (6-10), and 78.6% at the free throw line (11-14). Meshanic leads the Liberty League and is ninth in the nation with 10 double-doubles.
